"The lodge was clean, well presented and in a convenient location to the main places of interest. The property was very small (smaller than we realised) and located on a very busy main road with a view of business warehouses opposite. There were alot of traffic queues and it was tricky trying to get in and out of the property in the car. However, once inside the property you could not hear much traffic noise which was good. The property accepted pets, but there was nowhere to exercise them...

"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. "Very convenient and suited us well. There is a slight smell of damp however on entry to the lounge. You might consider having a lighter weight quilt in the summer but that is only a refinement. All the basics are excellent. "
