"Fantastic stay - location was perfect and the view of the cathedral from my room was amazing. Maria and her family could not have been more welcoming and their restaurant opposite the hotel serves the most delicious food. Excellent value for money. "The hotel is nice enough, but could use a little TLC. Lovely pool area was a welcome highlight after a hot day at Pompeii. Breakfast was fine, although a little lacking in variety. The coffee, however, was outstanding! Our room had a balcony with a drying rack — ideal both for bathing suits and a little bit of laundry..
The only complaints were the AC — it works well enough, but temperature and fan speed , could not be adjusted and the shower. Be prepared for an older European-style...

"Great spot in town with a breathtaking views on the communal balcony. Staff are very friendly and warm. Our room didn’t have a microwave which was important for us. It can also get hot at night. Otherwise solid for the price."

"Traffic is absolutely horrendous. We booked this on the road and on line it listed when their front desk was opened. It stated to call directly to make arrangements outside of those hours. We arrived in those hours on a motorcycle and were concerned to leave it even for check in due to safety. The street sign on the front of the hotel was scary and it looked like a dump. We had a hard time getting into the whole building as we had to walk to a side street entrance and it’s part of what looks to...
