This B&B is a wonderful alternative to the massive metropolis that is Naples. 30 minute easy drive to all the greater Naples attractions. We opted for the room with the Sauna & Hot tub, both of which seemed brand new and worked perfectly. The Sauna HOT and the tub clean and big for two. Elana was a great host. She had breakfast ready for us each morning and was very accommodating. The property was very beautiful and overlooked the Mediterranean and many of the rooftops in Salerno. The train station is about a 20 minute walk. It is easy to get to, but the cobblestones can be a little bit bumpy. The rooms were very well-kept and clean and we’re nice. The other guests were very quiet and we’re also very nice when we met them on the veranda.

Location Location is everything. This spot was central to all. Train station, fashion district, resturant row, a promenade, marina and somewhere there was a beach .... Full one bedroom apartment w/ 1 1/2 bathrooms - sound proof windows queen size bed. lovely kitchen with everything you need including a juicer. We were only able to stay here for one nice and wish it was at least a week. Amalfi is absolutely stunning with postcard views everywhere you look. There was a misunderstanding with the reservation and Vincenzo was more than gracious to accommodate and for the one night we were there we felt at home. The breakfast buffet is hands down the best I've seen with so many delicious choices along with cappuccino made to order. Will definitely return to Residenza Luce as soon as possible!

Loved the property itself so much! However, the location isn’t ideal if you aren’t renting a car. Getting taxis to and from minori/maiori/Amalfi was the biggest headache ever. Also, the phone number listed through Expedia isn’t updated. We weren’t able to get into our room when we first arrived because we had no way of contacting the property to get inside. Other than that, the property itself is amazing and has the most amazing views and a very convenient restaurant downstairs! Also...

The owner does everything herself. She is so sweet and will do anything to make you feel welcome.

Carmen the host was the most wonderful welcoming woman. She made our first stop in Italy such an enjoyable experience. The accommodations were very pleasant and as advertised. The beds were comfortable and additional bedding was provided for the chilly evenings. The breakfast was delicious and Carmen makes a fantastic cappuccino and we got the honor of tasting her delicious lemon cake. It can get noisy on the street up until midnight but that is going to be true no matter where you stay so...

We loved our stay. Roberto and Francesco were super welcoming and very hospitable! Our room was lovely. One thing to be aware of is that the property does require going up a significant hill with your luggage, as the taxis can’t get all the way up. That was not a problem for us, we loved our stay and highly recommend !!!!

The location is excellent, in this area. It's about a 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal and about a 5 minute walk to the bus stop. Food choices are right outside your door. Beautiful views and friendly management. I would highly recommend a visit to this area and, also, to this establishment. Fun times to you!
