"Locating the front door to the property was difficult and getting into the property was near impossible. The passcode to the apartment was incorrect and the owner did not respond to our messages or phone calls. We were standing outside the apartment door for at least 20 minutes. "It was a basic studio and was clean. Air con was good. Pool closes for 3 hours 2-5pm. Food in restaurant is very good and reasonable priced but for all the staff they have (5) service is terrible. I had to go bar and order in end as got sick of waiting even though it wasn’t busy. When we received meal i had to get up and ask for cutlery. No entertainment on night we stayed"

"This is a lovely hotel I found while searching for places to stay 1 night on the coast from Marbella to Valencia. The staff is very friendly and we both spoke enough English and Spanish to feel comfortable. There is a quaint rooftop garden restaurant with good food and a charming staff. Breakfast was included with pastry and bread, ham and cheese and juices. Very traditional Continental breakfast. The cappuccino was delicious!! The price can’t be beat. I can’t speak as to what there is to do in Portman. It is a small and quiet town. We just stayed the one night as we passed through. But don’t hesitate to book a stay!"
