"The pools were ok but the accommodation not great and we were.next to neighbors that were up late and drinking/smoking so didn't feel hugely safe with my girls. We left very early in the morning. Don't really recommend accommodation especially with a family but you could.come for a swim."

"Have had several stays at Penmarric and always appreciate the cleanliness, comfort and affordability of the hotel. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast is also a nice touch. Close to town, several eateries are within walking distance as well as a supermarket."
"From the start, the communication with Liz was very prompt and clear. All I needed to know was provided to us. The chalet was clean and the bathrooms are modern.
We did not feel rushing on check out during our final day which added value to the whole experience. Shame the next New Zealand Dragon Boat Nationals will be held elsewhere next year, otherwise, I would have booked again. Maybe for some other trip down in Karapiro. Awesome service, Liz and team!"
"Called Homestead for a good reason lovely B&B set in countryside surrounded by cattle and friendly Alpacas we loved it. Staff very helpful, breakfasts in room tasty and adequate."
