"This is an excellent hideaway in the mud-wall town of San Pedro de Atacama. Secure parking was key, esp in this part of Chile. Kept very clean despite how dusty and windy the Atacama is. But it's not a busy street so it didn't bother us that much. The bed on the loft was wide & comfortable. "Casa Turipite is in a residential neighborhood a short walk from the main drag in San Pedro. We stayed there three nights. There was not automatic hot water in our room the first night so we had to wait for the manager, who does not live on-site, to come over and turn it on. When we got back to the Hostal the next evening, she was there and said we should move to another room that had automatic hot water, something we did not request but very much appreciated. The host also made us snacks...
