"Would not recommend staying at this hotel. Our room was not ready when we arrived and it seemed like they did not know about our reservation. Room was very smelly, parts were dirty and the humidity was super high. Also the shower was leaking, which lead to lots of water in the bathroom. The room also had no window. We were also not informed about the construction work downstairs, it started at 7:45am and they were hammering until 8pm. Would definitely not have booked this room if we would have...

"The Mapiland Hotel was the perfect place to stay while in Aguas Calientes. It was easy to find and very close to everything including the train station, bus station, and plenty of shopping and dining. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the small town and area. Our room overlooked the creek that ran down through the center of town and it make the experience more enjoyable. "
