"This is an excellent property. Spacious, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We stayed with family over the holidays, and enjoyed the location -- Whittier is Santa's Village for the Polar Express Train Ride, and my child was totally thrilled. The owner provides some games on the huge porch, and a firepit for our hot chocolate and s'mores night. We would love to come back. "

"Beautiful and comfortable home in a private, gated community. If you’re looking for activities on the river, fishing and hiking, this place is great. Literally steps away from the Nantahala river. Beautiful outdoor deck overlooking the river. Wall-to-wall windows, allowing amazing views of the river and mountains. We love to cook family meals while away and this kitchen is amazing. State of the art everything! Close to Bryson City too for a nice day excursion. Can’t wait to come back!! "
