"We had a room with an accessible bathroom (because we asked for a tub). The lounge area was a bit smaller because of it. Overall the room was nice. Bed was comfy, it wasn't too loud, and we had a good stay. The water pressure was a bit on the low side for the shower, but that's really common in hotels. We'll definitely stay here again! "

"The motel worked very well for our 3 night stay to visit Sequoia. The kids liked the pool and the continental breakfast was surprisingly good. The staff was also helpful and friendly. If we ever visit Exeter again I would stay here."

"Requested a room with two queen beds and was told that Expedia called and changed it to a king with pullout couch bed! Did not agree with change at all. Wonderful staff, otherwise stay was wonderful."

The property is located at the banks of the three rivers with 24 Hr access to the river and it’s banks.. it has 2 markets on either side of the property.. the gas station and eateries are nearby … they are in a walkable distance… What we did not like was that few of the necessary appliances did not work property such as out of 4, 2 burners worked… the ceiling fan has light which cannot be shut off at night without shutting off the fan.. the back side of the ac is...

"The Gateway was a fantastic place to stay for visiting Sequoia. The little cabin was perfect for 2 people and we had a balcony overlooking the river which was a lovely bonus. Plenty of space in the room and a lovely queen bed with a great mattess and pillows. The bathroom was a little cramped and the light above the mirrow did not work. The shower was small with a non-adjustable shower height and it was hard to get the water temperature balanced. The restaurant was lovely, recommend to eat on...

"We stayed here seven nights and had a different gourmet breakfast every morning … they were delicious and beautiful. Lisa was fantastic! She loaned us a cooler to use for the week. She had several recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit which were greatly appreciated. And our nightly dips in the pool felt great after hot days in the national parks. I highly recommend this place. "

"This is the perfect retreat if you are looking for a spacious location close to Sequoia National Park. The place is cozy with a beautiful patio with hot tub and fireplace, which is great to relax after a day of hiking! The home has all the amenities you need and feels like a home away from home. James was great in communicating with us before, throughout and after our stay. Would definitely recommend!"
