"Hotel Ysbrantsz exceeded our expectations in terms of spaciousness of the room, friendliness of staff, and the beauty of the outdoor terrace and dining area. The special Mother's Day prix fixe dinner was outstanding. Hoorn, likewise, exceeded our expectations, and is a town we would go back to in a heartbeat. Much recommended!"

"In such a lovely position but you feel kind of neglected once youve checked in. That was the only time we saw a member of staff, no scope to leave bags in storage at end of stay and room size fit 1 not 2. When you need staff at 6/7am its no good if no-ones around til 8am/9am. Lovely spot but pretty lousey otherwise gutted to say"

"Something different. Stayed in a so called Pipo wagon which was really nicely done and very comfortable. A bottle of red wine was waiting upon arrival and freshly baked bread rolls in the morning. A lovely experience. "

"Property was very clean and spacious. Beds are very squeaky & loud. Mattresses and pillows need replacing. "

"Het concept ,slapen in de bedstee en het thema(Friesland vroeger) is origineel. De badkamer met orinele "poepdoos" (wel met gewoon doortrekmechanisme) is verder erg basic, evenals de kamer,geen kast om iets op te bergen b.v. Het bed was hard de kussens ook .Omdat er geen ramen naar buiten zijn vonden wij de kamer niet zo fris als we gewend zijn. Locatie is prima evenals het ontbijt. Samengevat, leuk bedacht maar voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar."
