"For a 2-star property, I give B&B Hotel Verdun 5 stars. It is a basic hotel, but a good stop for seeing the area, the battlefields and forts. The staff is very nice. FYI, there are stairs, no elevator. The rooms are not large, but they work for a 1-night stay. Breakfast was pastries, granola, yogurt, beans, mushrooms, toast. "It is the typical European hotel with the pub/restaurant below and rooms above. We booked our room only an hour before arriving around 8pm. "Beautiful old and charming hotel that is family run. This hotel is set in a small town very close by to a number of WW1 historical sites. The staff was very friendly and the meals served in the dining room were excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel if wanting to stay off the beaten path. Il ne faut surtout pas procéder à la réservation d'une chambre via le site et encore moins régler le montant demandé....l'hôtel ne reçoit pas les demandes."

"Hadden de peche chalet geboekt. Inrichting was aardig.. Alleen konden de buiten deuren niet normaal dicht.. En was het vies van binnen overal spinnenwebben en vies linnengoed.. Sanitair was ook vies overal spinnenwebben ook.. En geen bereik op de camping!"

"For a 2-star property, I give B&B Hotel Verdun 5 stars. It is a basic hotel, but a good stop for seeing the area, the battlefields and forts. The staff is very nice. FYI, there are stairs, no elevator. The rooms are not large, but they work for a 1-night stay. Breakfast was pastries, granola, yogurt, beans, mushrooms, toast. Juice, coffee, etc. Definitely good for a quick breakfast. This hotel is outside of the city center, but it does have several restaurants in walking distance. We walked right next door to the Buffalo Grill for dinner, and were very pleasantly surprised. We are Americans, and it was our first time eating "American food"in Europe. It gave us a good laugh, we had a great dinner, and it was nice to have this option so close to the hotel. "
