"We were there because my grandson had a baseball tournament in the area. Did not realize that there were so many teams there. There were kids running in the halls till 11:30 at night. A team that won a championship brought a cooler with alcohol to the pool. They left trash, beer bottles and unfinished food all around the pool. They also played loud music in the pool area till 9 PM. Also there was never any towels at the pool and when asked they only brought a few or said there were no more...

"Great hotel for the money, though it's a little off the beaten path (I had no idea where to find Old Saybrook from the hotel location). Still, it was perfect for my needs. They had a nice (free) continental breakfast and the pool area was great. "

"Great location and accomodations. Bed was very comfortable. Property was exceptionally clean. Service was difficult in the mornings because sane person was running the cafe and front desk so he had to keep running back and forth. He did a great job given the circumstances and was very pleasant.Wish the cafe was open every evening for those guests who are staying during the week. Nice place to finish the day. Alex was a great bartender. Overall great stay."

"Our experience in Niantic and at the Niantic Inn was great! The owner was very friendly and helpful. There was EVERYTHING you could need provided in the clean and comfortable room, with many extras such as bottles of water and snacks. The location of the hotel was better than we imagined as the owner told us about a lovely and scenic 1 mile walk along the boardwalk along the bay, which started right across the street from the Niantic Inn! . She gave suggestions for coffee shops and anything else...

"We checked in late...after midnight. Rang the bell and got right in. It was rainy and unbenounst to us, we had a garage to park under. The step up into the room was kind of unstable-ish as it was a metal grate that felt like it could give. The front door only locked from the inside, but we didn't need to use it. It basically was one room with the bathroom (toilet was running so the handle needed jiggling). The TV needed to be turned on without the remote, and the carpet powder they used...

"I was really happy with my stay here. I found the beds incredibly comfortable, and the place was clean. There was a table and chair for me to eat at. There was a refrigerator, a microwave. It had everything. I feel it was a great bargain. Everything worked, and I was able to park in front of my door. Very happy. 🙂"

"The area was safe and quiet and it was right off the higway. There were places to eat and shop near by The room smelled of cleaning products and the rooms were dated however we were only spending a night in a budget hotel so you get what you pay for the room had two beds and one had a stain on the sheet so we slept in the other and that one had a stain on the comforter the breakfast was continental so recommend eating someplace else. breakfast was in a brown bag and was a donut and a granola...
