"Basalt is a gorgeous little town 20 minutes from Aspen. The hotel isn’t too inviting from the outside but the rooms are updated and super comfortable! Friendly check in and just being right in the town and on the river makes for a lovely stay "

"We loved our stay at The Residence Hotel. The hotel is super convenient to Aspen Mtn for skiing. The gondola is less than a 10 min walk! The room was spacious which we appreciated with our 2 dogs. The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed having a little kitchen to make coffee/tea and breakfast in the morning. We will certainly stay again when visiting Aspen."

Condo was in excellent condition and kitchen had everything you can possibly need. City Market grocery store is one block away. Perfect location to restaurants, gym, shopping. Can't wait to go back.
