"Everything was super on our short stay. Staff friendly, location perfect (though cycling up the hill to get there was heart challenging). The charging tower next to my bunk was not working but there were other charging points elsewhere in the room so not a disaster."

The garden is a peaceful haven with lots of space and flowers... and Thames footpath is very close by. "Double bed opening onto the garden was nice. Three suggestions for improvement: 1. Four steps from bed up to bathroom. Would be helpful to have a handrail up those steps, especially for elderly and/or in the dark. 2. Heat was off, but plug-in heater does not work (makes noise, but no output) so nights were chilly. 3. Phone reception is poor. Had to step into the garden at night to make a call. Any chance of improving?"

"Usually use Prem Inn but prices are getting ridicules, found Kingfisher Bard, first class, reasonable price and breakfast included not like Prem Inn, £9.50 extra for continental brekkie. Definitely use again."

"We stayed for two nights in one of the recently refurbished rooms. Very clean and had everything you would need. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had breakfast both mornings and couldn’t fault it. There is parking, but it is limited. Our friends stayed in the older part of the hotel and said whilst there rooms was dated, it was very comfortable and clean.We would definitely stay here again."

"Seemed a bit busy/disorganised during the booking and payment process so I was a little worried but it seemed this was due to a change of management and all was fine. If fact, they were very helpful in amending our booking and carrying luggage etc. The room was quaint and quirky, quite quiet and comfortable."
