"Would give this hotel a lot more stars if I could! We had an amazing time from the moment we checked in l, to when our stay came to an end. The hotel is elegantly designed and perfectly maintained. Our bedrooms were large, clean and had a good layout with the most comfortable bed and pillows I could imagine. The staff were very friendly and approachable throughtout - always asking how we were, if we needed anything and wanted us to enjoy our stay. Special mentions go to Christopher, Glory and...

"Very central location for Stone Town. Easy to walk to local attractions. Less easy to get back to but that is due to the many narrow streets rather and geography of the area and nothing to do with the hotel! The hotel is known by everyone so if you get lost someone will help you get back. It is noisy with building work going on nearby, calls to prayer, and the church bells ringing but we expected that to be the case and soon got used to it. The air conditioning, fan and turn down service...

"Beautiful old wood architecture and friendly staff. Nice rooftop dining area. Spacious room. Strong AC and great hot water. Easy access to Forodhani and Stone Town sights. Must walk down a short alley from the street to get to hotel from taxi. I would stay here again! "
