"Excellent service from the staff who were all very smart and presentable,,nothing was too much for them ,vary clean and fresh smelling,,could not fault the rooms as we found everything just right,,and the most hot hot hot water that we've had in any hotel for a good few years,,so from both of us, it's a very good Thank You for our stay,,and we will see you again soon "

"Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Family room was spacious and excellently cleaned. For the price it was very reasonable. 2 minutes to railway station , and bars and eating houses. An excellent location for all amenities. Take into consideration that this building is very old but kept to good standard . Loads and loads of towels for one night stay. If in Carlisle again I would definitely stay here everything you need on the doorstep"
