"Check in on Friday afternoon was friendly and quick. Although there was an issue with the one room keycard however that was resolved quickly and satisfactory. Check out on Sunday morning was again quick and easy. However on Sunday morning we decided to have breakfast. We asked in the restaurant if we could have and they sent us to reception to pay, this was ok but she was not very friendly. We paid for 3 breakfasts and went back to her. "Really happy with our stay, we only stayed one night as part of a long journey but I knew booking a Holiday Inn Express would be worth it. Very reasonably priced, great comfortable room, hot shower and nice breakfast in the morning."

"The hotel is grand old building, set in established gardens with pleasant views across the Somerset levels. The staff are very pleasant, accomodating and friendly. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Thrre is pleanty of free car parking. The hotel is a large historic building and has a rambling assortment of extentions . There are no lifts meaning you have to carry your cases up and fown numerous stairs in and out of buildings and through numerous doors. Our stay coincided with a wedding ...

"Lauren Phillips was the attendant or receptionist for the day at the desk and she was exceptionally wonderful with all her help. Went into the room looked for my childs toy where i explained it would be when i called to tell her we would return to collect the forgotten toy! She was not irritated or anything. So kind and helpful!"

"Close to Cardiff airport - 5 min by taxi. Restaurant has good food at reasonable price. Bus service to Cardiff. We stayed there when we arrived in Cardiff plus when we departed. Property is well kept and rooms were 3 star as reported. All good for a one night stay."
