"Excellent service and attention from all staff. Just as a honest review, rooms seems to be as good as the pictures but they are not. It is understandable that is the historic building layout that don’t permit doing something crazy but just be aware that rooms are small that it looks, specially bathroom (shower area). And pillos need improvement and provide better ones (orthopedic and supportive) and usually, should be at least 4 per each bed."

"For our room the AC vents were not distributed evenly so only part of the room was getting cool. The breakfast was good even for vegetarian guests. The dining area is accessible even in the evening so guests can enjoy take away dinner. "

"La dame a notre arrivée tellement sympathique, elle nous a donné tous les feuillets et informations pour se rendre en transport en commun pour la montagne Interlaken! Chambre bon lit, bonne literie, bon déjeuner avec plusieurs choix. Seul bémol pas de clim mais nous début juin avons profité du vent avec fenêtre et porte ouverte toute la nuit A l'étage. Balcon avec vue sur les montagnes *Pas de produit de soins , ni shower cap mais ça semble être la norme en Suisse. Le lendemain on avait oublié...

"We loved our stay at this hotel. It does not have AC in the rooms, but they do have fans available for the rooms if needed. The hotel is close to walking to the shores of Lake Lucerne. The hotel bar and restaurant has great food and drinks. "
