"Gorgeous views from the room and dining room. Could hear the waves lapping on the shore all night long with a cool breeze coming in off the harbor. Front desk staff could care less about anything, it restaurant and bar staff were amazing. Parking is very limited but we managed. "

"This hotel was so lovely. I absolutely loved my stay. The hotel has some historic charm, which I loved. Even though it doesn't have an elevator, I made it through and would love to stay here again. The check-in process was very simple. The view from my window was gorgeous and worth every cent. My room was small, but had everything I needed. I also loved the terrace restaurant they have. It had an amazing view and the waitstaff was very kind. Mallaig is so peaceful and the hotel just added to it....

"The hotel is in a beautiful location very close to the silver sands of Morar and a few miles from Mallaig. We had fabulous weather and stunning views from our bedroom. Staff were extremely helpful and our one evening meal was excellent. The interior of the hotel needs a bit of tlc but is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return. "

"WATCH OUT!!!! This property, and the people we interacted with for the reservation via Expedia, was a total scam. It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. Unfortunately, our trip was somewhat last minute, so we didn't have many local options for Skye, but this property / representatives were the absolute worst. STAY AWAY!!!"

"Great location for our early morning ferry to Skye however paper thin walls meant we barely slept. This was due to the loud football watchers in the pub below and next door shouting and cheering, followed by full volume music and singing(shouting) until around midnight (surprising on a Sunday evening) & another guest next door deciding to do shower karaoke. Lovely room and staff but lack of sleep ruined it Iā€™m afraid "

"Nice friendly check in, room was lovely with a nice view to mallaig. Food was excellent and reasonably priced as was the wine and lager ( a pint for less than Ā£4 šŸ˜). The staff at dinner and breakfast were nice and polite and done their job very well. Thank you to all the team who made our stay relaxing. "
