"We stayed for 1 night only and left very early in the morning. Our stay was very short, but for the purpose of our trip it was a great choice. The room was quite modern, equipped with all the necessary equipment and clean. Not sure how this would be for longer stays (we didn’t get to experience it in that way) but for a short stay we definitely recommend it. "

"We had a one night stay in August at the Hotel Eden and really wished we had the opportunity to stay longer but will definitely return. The check in was smooth and the staff were so helpful to provide all the information to us with the parking, and beach options and restaurants. We travelled with our dog and this hotel is truly a dog friendly hotel and all staff being very kind and helpful. "Stayed here many years ago and wanted to revisit. Staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Hotel room was comfortable and clean. Shower cubicle was tiny! "We had a questionable room. The antique bed springs sagged like 75 yrs old. The shower door was half missing. Bathroom is old style. Screen on bathroom window torn badly. Poor lighting options. TV 12 in. No garbage bin...etc. However the hotel structure, bones, history, antiques are a good as any museum. Location I like right on river. We had view of tower. Many many rooms looked quite desireable as we cruised the historical hotel. But ours was not very good. Price is ok though. Survivable...
