"We only stayed one night, but had an excellent stay at the Hotel Sonya. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the location so convenient, the staff friendly and helpful*. The hotel itself felt so authentically Italian and charming you knew you were in Rome. "Property was conveniently located near train station which also had numerous taxi stops. Was advised not to walk past train station at night due to pickpockets. We used the laundry service around the block that was reasonably priced. Property has an elevator, ceiling fan and air conditioning. Mall in train station has a variety of options to eat at. There are several small shops and a large grocery store across the street. Breakfast had a large variety and reasonably priced. "

"It was walkable to ponte vecchio and the duomo, the breakfast spread was great, there was a very cute patio terrasse dining area (accessible 24h) and the reception staff was very courteous and recommended an awesome wine tour for us! Would definitely stay here again 😊"

"Great location. Excellent staff. The cafe on the ground floor has wonderful, happy staff and terrific food. (Great for breakfast.) The hotel is in a pedestrian area (taxi can enter but slowly) so getting a taxi out is not so easy. For other food Pinsitaly (dinner) and Gelateria Valentino )dessert) are nearby. "

"Pretty decent/good hotel in Rome. The beds were comfortable although a little on the harder side. Don’t know if that’s a European style. Clean hotel. Decent breakfast. Coffee and croissant and cakes mainly. Only not so great thing is that to get to the center of Rome where most of touristy areas are you have to get a taxi and it can get kinda pricey. Next time I’ll get a hotel closer to that area to avoid extra costs but overall good hotel. "

"This was a fantastic place to stay when my family took a quick two-day trip to Rome. Wonderful service, clean rooms, and a great location—within walking distance of most major locations. We stayed one night, and they were kind enough to hold our luggage on the second day while we explored the city (and before catching an evening train). They also held the luggage for us on the previous day when we arrived on an early train. I really can’t say enough about how great the experience was."
