"The hotel rooms decor needs a serious update, but that's a very superficial criticism. It provided everything you would expect from a hotel, was comfortable, quiet and felt safe. Decent bar, lovely staff and good breakfast. We had a room with a seaview, right on the prom, about 15-20 mins stroll from the pier and main hub of Llandudno and 2 mins from Venue Cymry. Couldn't really ask more for a cheap hotel, and it was cheap: 2 people, 2 nights, for £99. Bargain."

"Situated in a stunning location. The hotel was easy to find and had ample parking. Check in was quick and efficient. We booked this hotel as we were taking part in a 1am Snowdon walk. It was literally two minute walk to the Snowdon train station, which was our meeting point. The village with shops and restaurants was only a few minutes walk away. "Staff are fantastic. Views are brilliant. Its an old building so floorboards are creaking all through the night. I slept well but i can sleep anywhere, my partner didnt sleep well at all. You can hear doors opening all night, especially after 11pm when the bar closes. I would stay again but I'd be on my own 😂. Didnt try the food or the bar so can't comment on them"

"Slighly faded glory old character hotel. Some money has been spent on communal areas and the swimming pool and spa are decent. Would rather stay here than the chain hotel options."

"Hotel really nice, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Only a couple of things thst could be changed....tea spoons instead of wooden stirrers, biscuits in room, dog bed and bowl would be a nice touch too when u are staying with your pooch."

"Stayed in one of the lodge rooms after doing the Welsh Three peaks. Being able to park right outside the room was a really helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the half price access to health spa was a real bonus. Will be staying again"
