"We had a very enjoyable 2-night stay at the Prince Albert Gare de Lyon. Its location is convenient for the Metro and rail and was a good base for exploring Paris. Staff were friendly, and the room, though compact, was recently refurbished and clean with a very comfortable bed. There are excellent and good value restaurants within a few minutes’ walk. We’d definitely use the hotel again when visiting Paris. "

"Great location near the Bastille, convenient to bus and metro stations and walking distance to many delicious boulangeries & restaurants. Lively neighborhood at night but room was good at keeping noise out from outdoors. Noise from surrounding rooms are noticeable but manageable. Staff members were helpful & pleasant, and available 24 hours. Bathroom was very small, but all we needed and very clean. On the last day of our stay, there were issues with the elevator which set off the building alarm twice in the morning which frightened us. Otherwise, a wonderful stay in Paris! "
