Jorge, the owner is a veteran of the tourism industry and is extremely knowledgeable about geography, history, pretty much everything Tico. "The hotel check in was easy. The room was clean and grounds were immaculately groomed. My kids especially loved the water slide! There was a sloth hanging out in a tree behind our room during our stay. We also saw lots of monkeys while soaking in the Jamaica pool. The restaurant was not our favorite of the trip, but the second night we visited Cocina de Mayrita for dinner based on another review. It was a highlight of the trip!! It was an amazing dining experience. Be sure to bring cash...
