"DO NOT BOOK this hotel if you intend to use public transport. There are vast amounts of roadworks in the area surrounding the hotel. The nearest bus stop is 20 minutes walk away (and we walk quite quickly!) The walk walk wasn't safe either, as we had to walk on the road in part. Also, on return at night we had to walk on a long path, through a dimly iit park. On check in, the receptionist flippantly advised that we should use taxis (we didnt budget for this added expense!) "Whilst on the surface the hotel does not look like the grand hotels we often stay in. This hotel exceeded in experience many times. The staff are wonderful, kind and patient with a traveller. The food is very good. The breakfast set up exceeds many 5 star hotels. The location is very nice, next to a park and a river. Very relaxing and comfortable. "

"A wonderful apartment in a peaceful location. Great for us having an overnight stay whilst travelling through Italy. The room was comfortable, private and very quiet. A lovely garden and easy if you have a pet. The breakfast was fabulous and the owners really cant do enough to help. we bought two bottles of local wine which was delicious! A big thumbs up from us and we will certainly stay over again if we are passing by. Highly Recommended."
