"Awesome hotel, but quite a way from the centre. Listing states 0.4 miles. 2 miles at least !!! It's a 150 lek bus ride to "Planet Supermarket" bus stop, or a 1000 lek taxi fare. (100 lek = 0.75p)"

"This is a brand new hotel. We were the first Expedia customers staying here. We were extremely happy with our stay. We had a great view of the water and harbour area of Ksamil. Everything is walking distance. Breakfast was was one of best we had during our stay in Albania. The roof top restaurant has amazing views. It is also where you eat breakfast. The staff working there are also wonderful. They are personable and truly want you to enjoy yourself. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Nice new hotel, very clean. Breakfast really poor though, everything served cold even sausages and fried eggs. Waste of time paying extra for jacuzzi room cause only one room has proper jacuzzi, rest of them just a bath with bit of bubbles in the bathroom. Big plus for Netflix. "

"The location of the Kalemi 2 cannot be beat. You are in the most atmospheric part of Gjirokaster, with a gorgeous deck overlooking the valley & up to the castle. We booked a large view room which was outstanding. Beautiful touches: the high wooden ceiling is a work of art. Tall windows with nice drapes, a stone wall: very atmospheric. "Fantastic hotel, great breakfast and great food in general. Staff were all fantastic. Pool area absolutely amazing. Highlight of our stay in Albania. Don’t be put off by the reviews that say it’s hard to find, there are lots of signs and whilst the roads are a bit tight it’s easy enough to find. And it’ll keep you fit going up and down that hill to town!"

"Beautiful, stylish and tasteful hotel with lovely staff. Right on the beach. The hotel is slightly on the outskirts of Saranda which means the beaches are cleaner and quieter. It’s very close to where the river meets the beach which is a beautiful serene spot. Also, the food in the Harmony restaurant is superb. I didn’t bother eating anywhere else during my stay as I knew I wouldn’t find anywhere as good. Really creative and beautiful food. I would highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant...

"We liked the hotel was quite new, however no restaurant or bar onsite, and an empty pool. The beach bar was very good at 30 meters walk"

"We had a wonderful room and stay! Our AC didn't work, but we never asked them about it or to fix it, we just left our door open. Loved the private beach and the little dock you could jump off of. Breakfast was great. Very clean and comfortable: thank you!!!!"
