"Lovely hotel in great location. Our room was good, the top bunk was really high with no bottom end bar and low side bars and not suitable for a younger child, our 10 year was even nervous about it. Room & all areas were really clean. Reception staff helpful. Breakfast was fab, definitely worth adding it on. "

"Close to the centre of Gent with a tram stop directly outside to take you to the train station, or a 20 minute walk. Beds comfy, rooms clean and warm ,shower hot, good for the price. Cafés nearby if going out for breakfast. Other guests were noisy late one evening but this was quickly resolved by the night staff. The walls are a little thin. I have stayed here before some years ago and would stay again. "

"Windows have great soundproofing. No staff on desk overnight however they have a direct phone line to staff. Comfortable bed and an overall great stay. "

"An authentic and historic house with wonderfully renovated interior. Very friendly and interesting staff who know every detail of the house's story. Very comfortable room and excellent breakfast. It really felt like we were experiencing the real Bruges."

"Only one poor girl left on her own to manage the busy bar and checking area. We waited ages to order. Quite a few frustrated customers around us too who missed out on even getting a drink in the bar as last orders 1030pm but she couldn’t get to serve us because she was too busy. More staff needed "
