"Great room and clean and spacious.cons.. I stayed 4 nights and after 2nd night they took the soap I had and replaced with a new one.. odd and wasteful. There was no recycling at all so had to take it with me. Key stopped working on 3rd day. There was no way to open window and get fresh air."

"Nice place, great location. Super comfortable beds! Nice bathroom and friendly staff. The only issue is the curtains in the bedroom are not big enough to cover the windows. It also covers the AC unit when you attempt to darken the room. It got hot by morning and the sun woke us up. They could fix that so easily with a couple mini blinds. Otherwise a great place. "

"Very nice getaway. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were comfortable and having a kitchen in the room was really nice. The front desk staff were extremely welcoming and professional. They really went all-out to make our visit a relaxing one. Would definitely return again. "

"One of our favorite "go to" places to stay. We have stayed off & on for weeks and it is always clean, comfortable and accomodating. Front desk is friendly & eager to help with everything from dining recommentations to quarters for laundry, which is rare at other hotels for some reason. Guest laundry is clean, inexpensive and super efficient. The pool is always sparkling clean & the perfect temp. The basketball court is another wonderfully thoughtful perk. "This is the third time we have stayed at the black bear lodge in Stratton and every time we stay our experience is the same.. excellent. The staff are all so nice and accommodating, the property is clean and the breakfast is perfect. The rooms are comfortable and clean, it really is the perfect place to stay in Vermont.
