"Owners were awesome, very helpful, both spoke English. Breakfast was pretty nice. Hotel was clean, neat and the grounds were quite pleasant. The roses out by the entrance to the pool gorgeous and amazing. My only complaint was having to ask for the air conditioner remote. Even though the nights were cool, getting the air to transfer outside with out movement was impossible. Oh! And not a bad location if you have a car."

"This was our first visit to Assisi and it did not disappoint. The location of the property was perfect. We had the best views of everything. Our balcony was so perfect. My only complaint was that we didn't have more time to spend there as this was only a 2 day stay. I loved being right next to the large gate that took us into the city. "I gave it 5 stars in most areas considering it’s a 3 star hotel. So many travelers, specially us Americans, rate their stays on five star hotel expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a power outage for about 1 hrs but they dealt with it. I wanted another night which was not available but they found me a room just down the street and checked me in to it at 9am. I liked Il Duomo and the staff and recommend it. "

"The accommodations were very good as were the service and the breakfast buffet. Only problem is that central Chiusi is not a walkable distance from the property. Had to take cabs back and forth, although the man in reception was very helpful in arranging this. No restaurant on the premises but Nanna Rosa is very close to the hotel and the food there is wonderful. "
