"We arrived at 22.30 as our flight was delayed. We tried to notify the hotel as their check in closed at 23.00 but the gentle man only spoke Italian and we only spoke English. "A little hotel close to Sirmione. We stayed one night on the way from Milan to Venezia - very convenient. We walked from the hotel to Sirmione and back, but there is a shuttle available. Small room in the hotel, but it was enough space for us for 1 night. A safe in the room, a kettle, and a restaurant - we had breakfast there but not dinner - it was opened from 7pm. We had dinner in Sirmione. There is a grocery store nearby, 200 yards."

"We really enjoyed our week stay at hotel Maximilian, lovely location 10/15min walk from bardolino along the water front and 5mins from the little cisano in the opposite direction, restaurant which is part of the hotel is brilliant and very lucky to have it on the premises always bus my which can only be a good sign.
