I did get the money back btw. Also, I did not like the £15 fine if you took their shampoo bottles, again it made me feel uneasy. You could buy said bottles in the shops for a couple of £'s. The breakfast area was a maze, where moving around was difficult as you are constantly avoiding bumping into other people. "

"This is our go-to hotel when want a few days away. It’s location is perfect for visits to Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bath and many of the other beautiful area’s around this hotel. "A hotel with nice clean rooms close to Temple Meads station. The rooms were a little small, but overall pretty good. Staff was friendly and helpful toward any questions. Entrance was a little difficult due to the construction in the area. "

"We had a very nice stay at the Wookey Hole Hotel. We stayed for two nights. We arrived really late on our first night, with only 5 minutes left until they stopped doing dinner, but it was no problem to get us in for food. We were very grateful as we had a five year old with us who was very hungry! The food was very tasty and enjoyable. Check-in was smooth and everyone we encountered during our stay was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and bright, and we overall had no issues however...

"The room was clean, well decorated and had a good ensuite. There was fresh coffee and a caffeteire. The staff were really friendly, and parking was easy (though an extra £10 per night). Cooked breakfast was great, and service very quick. The only issue was the bed, which was a king-size mattress, but perched on two single divan bases. We commented on that to the hotel - but otherwise the hotel was great, and we would return (but request one of the rooms with a double bed and proper divan base)."

"This is an older building with lots of character. The bedroom was huge with lots of space and a view over the garden. The bed was comfy, although the mattress did seem to sag in the middle a little. The bathroom was nicely decorated, but I was a little surprised their wasn't any shampoo/conditioner in addition to the shower gel. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. We did have a drink from the bar after hours, which was allowed but the chap serving us didn't really have a clue so...

Only downside was the 3 day elvis event we should have been seeing was cancelled without our knowledge, we only found out on checking in, the company organising it didnt inform us or refund us, having a problem getting my money back from them."

"We had a superior double sea view room and were very impressed with the size and view. The room was well equipped and tidy. The carpet was stained and the bath rusty and the ahower oressure was shocking. Having said this none of this spoilt our stay. We had a lively time and staff were so friendly and helpful.
