"This hotel has a lot of history. It is located in the middle of downtown so convenient for walking. If you are looking for a place that is clean and comfortable without a lot of the so called modern amenities, this is the place for you."

"Beautiful hotel close to campus. Well appointed, clean rooms."

"Simple , clean room. It’s located 8 minutes from downtown. Staff is very nice. My only complaint is they were drilling and pounding the walls starting at 8 AM until 6 PM on the Thursday and Friday we were there. Fortunately , they didn’t work on Saturday . They also didn’t have hot water today when we went to shower. I would call next time to see if they are doing renovations before booking. They should do renovations from 10-4 when tourists are out or don’t put guests in room next door "

"The Vesper is just the right amount of historic charm mixed with a clean, modern aesthetic. Breakfast was very tasty and made better by causal conversation with other guests. The sound machine in the room and hiking suggestions were a really nice touch! 10 out of 10 would stay here again (but longer next time!)."

"Our stay at Jimmy’s met all our expectations that we had hoped for in Woodstock. The accommodation is conveniently situated close to the heart of town and once we had parked our car it was easy to walk to the restaurants and shops. The room was impeccably appointed and spotlessly clean. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and personally welcomed us upon our arrival. "The home and entire property is lovely. Our room was not in the main house but it was roomy, clean and comfortable. Loved the cute Conutry store as well. Charge a little more and include a breakfast voucher. "
