"This is our go-to hotel when want a few days away. It’s location is perfect for visits to Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bath and many of the other beautiful area’s around this hotel. "We had a very nice stay at the Wookey Hole Hotel. We stayed for two nights. We arrived really late on our first night, with only 5 minutes left until they stopped doing dinner, but it was no problem to get us in for food. We were very grateful as we had a five year old with us who was very hungry! The food was very tasty and enjoyable. Check-in was smooth and everyone we encountered during our stay was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and bright, and we overall had no issues however...

"The room was clean, well decorated and had a good ensuite. There was fresh coffee and a caffeteire. The staff were really friendly, and parking was easy (though an extra £10 per night). Cooked breakfast was great, and service very quick. The only issue was the bed, which was a king-size mattress, but perched on two single divan bases. We commented on that to the hotel - but otherwise the hotel was great, and we would return (but request one of the rooms with a double bed and proper divan base)."
