"Would have given 5 stars but checked in went to room and it wasn’t made up, looked a right mess. Went back to reception to tell them and fair do’s immediate apology and free upgrade to a superior room Restaurant is closed mid week but the bar food is excellent with a good choice "

"Staff were amazing and so friendly. For a family room it was spacious. It was very clean. Breakfast was fantastic so much hoice and good quality. We ate in the restaurant at night, good size portions and food was really good. We definitely will be back"

"We loved this place and the people working there! They were helpful with every need including giving us a ride to the train station in the morning as we didn’t have a car. We were sad to see the pub was closed a few weeks prior to our stay as we were relying on that for food but we made due and hope one day it’s up and running again and we can see this place for all it’s worth as we heard nothing but praises from the locals about the pub! All in all I would totally come back (with a car perhaps)...

"Excellent guest house. Very clean through out. Relaxing atmosphere and Eamon and Martina are very welcoming. A wide range of choice for breakfast. Only 10 minutes walk to Magherafelt. Would highly recommend staying at the Brook Lodge Guesthouse. I will definitely stay again."

"All good. Rooms big and comfortable. Shower spot on. Bar was a friendly place chatted with the locals. Sky sports and racing channel on what more do you want. Great fish and chip shop over the road all a contractor needs. "

The bathroom was perfect matched the quality of the bedroom . Friendly staff and a beautiful historic building for accommodation with the a lovely indoor and outdoor environment . I look forward to staying again hopefully soon ."
