"We checked in late at night and would have liked to have paid by cash but it was card only. Would have liked to have used a lift as I have a leg injury but understand that the hotel is old so it didn’t have one. The room & bathroom was modern with tea & coffee making facilities. The highlight of the short stay was the breakfast, for how little the breakfast cost was it was unbelievable value and very nice. All in all the one night stay was extremely good value for money. "

"We stayed overnight while on a journey. The receptionist made up beds in one of the rooms, changing from double to twin despite us arriving at 10pm when reception closes. We didn't stay for breakfast so can't comment about that. Comfortable beds. Blinds but no curtains so room not very dark"
