"This is a fairly typical German style hotel with a twist. Got there early and doors were locked. There was a number to call as you need a code to get in the building when reception isn't open which is only between 1 and 9 pm. They told me that they normally send a code and instructions via text but Expedia didn't send them my phone number. "Very good option for a short stay. Close to the main attractions. The rooms are cozy and the amenities are very basic, I can’t recommend staying for long. They offer a great breakfast and the reception is very friendly."

We were there two nights travelling through so didn’t get the opportunity to use self contact kitchen facility. Staff friendly and accommodating. "I would stay at the Amtsstüble again. Unfortunately, there was a temporary traffic diversion outside the hotel which meant there much traffic noise in the room. The weather was also unusually hot so with no aircon or fan it was difficult to sleep. The breakfasts were excellent as was the food in the restaurant.
