It is great in terms of facilities, with a 24/7 reception and baggage storage post-checkout, but the staff were absolutely fabulous and so helpful with just about everything. The hotel is not too far away from the bigger cities and is much cheaper, so definitely an option as long as you can drive (free parking is available). "Staying here was a great choice for visiting Amsterdam. Instead of getting a shoe box size room or paying a fortune, we got a very comfortable 1 bedroom with a private patio. We used the Park & Ride system to travel to the city for only 7 euros a day for 2 people. Center Parcs is a very peaceful, calm place to relax with a decent restaurant & general store in the center. I just wish the room had a microwave & there was a breakfast option other than an all you can eat buffet."

The rooms were clean and large, and the building is historic; even the key was a real key. The breakfast was quite good. Everyone was so nice. Minor complaints: the towels could be better as could the toilet paper! The hotel is also not readily accessible by public transportation. However, if you have a car, it is terrific."

"Lovely hotel in the old part of Amersfoort - we couldn’t believe how close we were to the centre of town! Staff were very friendly and accommodating with our requests. Our two young boys loved climbing the typically Dutch stairs to our top floor room. Room itself had plenty of space. Just be aware that there is no mini fridge in the room (just some sort of ice box) which made it a little hard since we stayed for almost a week and couldn’t go out for every meal (kids!) and they have no laundry...
