"Yolanda was super friendly and helpful, we spoke French which was easier for her to understand, but her English was much better than our Spanish, LOL. So, our Franglais was a good compromise. She gave us a map of Figueres and offered us tips on where it is safer to walk, and where it was safer to take a taxi (average 12€ - 15€) to all locations around town. It cost around 14€ to go from the train station to Ibis Styles Ronda. Overall, the check-in experience was very helpful and professionally...

"Excellent stop off hotel for the Spanish / French border crossing, access from the motorway takes seconds, shops around the area are duty free, so stocking up on cigarettes or booze is easy, hotel itself is spotless, excellent staff, good breakfast, would have no hesitation in returning, actually started & ended our Euro trip with a night here. Sink in room cracked looked like it was about to fall off, reported to reception as I didn’t want them to think I’d done it and they said don’t worry about it. "We enjoyed our stay at the Lido immensely. It was right on the sandy beach, and also provided comfortable seating around its own pool, together with drinks service. The restaurants were excellent, if a little pricier than the village offerings, and the breakfasts ample, without the usual rubbery scrambled eggs and tired bacon we get in North America. We’d recommend it for a family, too, as it has good play facilities for children."
