"Got to our first room about 8 pm got unpacked and the TV didn’t work, called the front desk they said maintenance won’t be in until the am, they then offered to bring up a remote. They brought one up and it still didn’t work. We then had to move to another room down the hall. When to go to bed and that tv would turn off so we unplugged it. The toilet in the second room makes lots of noise when it is flushed. This place needs some TLC. "

"The room was great, everything was very comfortable and we were offered full housekeeping services during our entire stay. The free hot breakfast and dinner's were awesome! The dinnertime servers were absolutely outstanding. Some staff were less friendly than others, but that's to be said at any hotel. I was a bit weary about staying here as I usually stay @ a 4 star hotel when traveling as the lone adult. But my grandkids wanted to stay in the Downtown Milwaukee area and asked to stay...

"Lovely location for my work and very economical. The hot tub was closed for repairs. One elevator is out. There is water or HVAC damage and the pool area is under construction. Great fitness room."

"I’ve never had a breakfast at a Holiday Inn that you have to pay for. The breakfast was just like what other properties offer for free as a “continental breakfast”, even less choices actually, and it was $16 per person if you didn’t have it included in your stay. It’s safe to say that you can get a better breakfast at another spot in town for that price. That was the only downfall of this hotel. "

"The staff was wonderful and the breakfasts were good. Our suite had a broken garbage disposer and the toilet paper holder was hanging on by a slim thread. There were no sheets for the sofa bed; only one blanket. The hotel is in a wonderful location. A few minutes walk from the Public Market and directly across the street from the Hop stop, a free streetcar going around the city."
