"Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and well maintained. Kept us nice and warm when it was cold out! I also like the design made easy for snow or wet weather gear. Only draw back was the mattress was particularly comfortable but otherwise amazing stay. Also sound proof rooms, didn’t hear a single person even though we had neighbours either side."

"Pleasant stay at Sunset motel. Our rooms had a stunning view of the snow capped mountains in the distance. Fox Glacier is a small town, so the motel is well placed to take in the activities. One suggestion for the motel owners; during the Autumn/ winter season warmer doonas and blankets are definitely needed as the rooms get extremely cold of an evening, even with the heater on."

"Old charming character of a lodge. Please throw away plastic kettles. They shouldn’t be in any place. Stay away from PFA, PCA, BPA coated or infused kettles and change to a small non coated stainless steel kettle."
