"My 2nd stay & apart from the noise which you can’t get away from these days, this place is an excellent stop £45 for B&B you can’t beat it. I used the restaurant & the meal was ok but I wouldn’t have it again (cheese onion pie real chips & peas). Make sure you ask for a room on the main level. "

"Friendly staff all round especially the Receptionist.who checked us in (sorry-- I have forgotten her name) Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean.Dinner was excellent although menu was a little restricted. A few healthier choices involving Salad would have been welcome. Breakfast exceeded expectations as we thought the buffet would be more like a continental breakfast but in fact included bacon,scrambled eggs,sausage,tomato and hash browns. Well done!!"

"I have stayed here multiple times and every time it exceeds my expectations! It has a beautiful rustic decor and maintains the charm of the original building, it’s a really quirky place to stay! The only thing I will say is that I’m not a fan of paying to park however, the hotel is definitely reasonably priced for the standard of room! I look forward to staying again many more times in the future"

"It was a nice hotel. No complaints. Reception could have been a touch friendlier when first arrived, but it was fine. I emailed the hotel pre arrival to ask about an early room. Was all very accommodating. Room was big (a suite type room) so I think we got a bigger than paid for standard room. Grounds and hotel all fine. Would use again. "

"Check in was easy and room very large. Bathroom a tad small though and very tired with loose tap and shabby panelling.Staff friendly and helpful especially in the pub/restaurant next door. Food quality and drink prices good value!"

"The staff at Rosehill are fantastic! They are warm, welcoming and very friendly. We notified them of the bathroom fan being very noisy and upon returning from our evening out, they had upgraded our room and kindly moved all of our stuff. The breakfast was delicious; all home cooked, fresh food which was made to order. Our room was well presented and facilities were well stocked. The building is stunning! We would stay here again! "

"A really lovely old property. It could do with a few upgrades as bathrooms/decor are a bit dated. However the stafff are super friendly and the grounds are beautiful. Really good value for money. "

"We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the inn. We managed to snag an amazing deal at half the usual rate. Our 2-bedroom room was very clean - only a couple of snags were experienced. The first sleeping area had no bedside lighting and the second had no accessible mains supply! The breakfast included was excellent. The setting for the inn is fantastic - lovely area to walk around."

"Excellent stay. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived till we left. A very pet friendly hotel, the staff went out of their way to please the dogs as much as us. Food was excellent we loved the breakfast. Ample parking in the public car park. We would recommend and hopefully we will return. "
