"3 nights stay . Room was clean and good value. Excellent breakfast each morning. Breakfast staff were excellent and very friendly"

"Lovely and clean, only downside was that room was quite cold even with heater on and sound on the TV was a bit blown. Other than that all good and would stay again"

"We had a large room with a wonderful view of the winding river and beyond. Staff excellent; friendly and extremely helpful. Food was good altough the dining room was a bilt lacking in character. Very good location."

"Comfortable one night stay. Friendly staff, great location. Have family in the area so will happily book again."

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was pleasant and clean. Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice, even for veggies.."

"Overnight stay with my colleagues - gorgeous, traditional little place. Evening meal was exceptional (Roast Chicken) and the breakfast options were excellent. We had a slight issue at breakfast where noticed one of the cafetières didn’t seem to have any coffee mixed with the hot water - a bit unlucky when travelling with Italians! But aside from that would definitely book again without hesitation."

"Wonderful stay for a quick weekend. Really friendly, food amazing, just nice. Thanks guys, will be back."

"Good location, friendly staff and good food (breakfast and dinner)."

"Friendly staff and very good breakfast. "

"Offered a cold bottle of water for the room as I checked in which I thought was a lovely touch. Air conditioning in room which was well needed in the heat wave! Very friendly, helpful staff. Lovely and clean room. Basic but had everything I needed for 1 night. Beautiful location, wish I’d had more time to explore the grounds."
