"This is the first time I’ve been back to Liberty in years, and it is still the same wonderful resort. The staff have been there for a long time, and are all lovely. Breakfasts are good. The gorgeous tropical gardens are amazing to walk through. The location is good, very easy to walk to all the dining options. 3 pools, so you could find sun or shade any time during the day. Our room was great too, loads of space and very well kept. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Tulamben. "

"A really beautiful stay in nature, on the lake and surrounded by the mountains— every morning we wake up to breathtaking natural sights! We opted for glamping so it was a new experience. Unfortunately the stay wasnt as peaceful as we hoped— the establishment is unfortunately in between two campsites with campers who made a lot of noise singing karaoke till late in the night (past 11pm) and blasted loud music early morning (when we woke up 7plus am for breakfast). "There were ants on my bed. The staff changed the bed sheets, but there were still ants. The room was really dirty. Someone had smoked and left ashes on the side of the window. The building is very badly maintained. There was mold everywhere. I put my suitcase against the wall and it became white. The window didnt have a safety bolt. When i asked for a refund they refused. Overall i wouldn't recommend to anyone to stay there."

"Great location in Kintamani. Sunsets are better from your own balcony or the rooftop pool then at the restaurants up on the ridge. Beds are super comfy and the room has all you need, other than maybe a small fridge. Meals here were all great, other than the steak. Photo is from the balcony bath"

"I have never been a beach, bars and booze guy so I never thought of coming to Bali. After visiting Kintamani and staying at Villa Jempana I am regretting not coming sooner. Serene views of the lake and caldera, central to lots of drives and the sunrises and sunsets, even in the rainy season were stunning. If being comfortable and cared for while quietly watching the farmers water their fields is you kinda thing, I can’t recommend enough. Ask for Molex."
