"We stayed on a high floor with an incredible view of the lake! Best location, close to the ferry and bus stop. Very good renovated bathroom. Very good breakfast! The only negative point was the bed, which was not very comfortable, I felt the spring of the bed, but otherwise it was perfect."

The village was nice and peaceful in the evening, but there were a few bars and restaurants around to eat and drink in. "Great view of Lake Lugano - but there is a building site with 2 large cranes that suggests that in a year or so that view might be obscured by a new block. Our room was value for money but the hotel seemed to us to need investment, pretty much from top to bottom. Breakfast was good. "

They need to help guests arriving by car a little, my navi did nor recognise that many streets are pedestrian. Best approach is head to the cathedral, along the train tracks, and turn left by the cathedral. "

"This family-owned hotel was exceptionally clean. The pictures are exactly what you get. (It is time to replace the beds) The bathrooms are updated and extremely clean as are the rooms. The location was great for taking the ferries. Breakfast everyday was good. Owners were very helpful when giving advice as to where to go/eat/shop. "
