La Darsena Boutique Hotel & Restaurant

"Our family, including our young daughter, had a dream stay at La Darsena. We decided to venture beyond the more conventional choices of Varenna and Bellagio, and we’re so glad we did — we found an absolute gem! Just steps from the Tremezzo pier, the hotel is perfectly located, with the added advantage of a less crowded ferry stop for exploring Lake Como. The hotel itself is historic yet exceptionally well maintained, full of charm, and clearly run with genuine care by a family from start to finish. Breakfast was excellent, and the views from our room and the restaurant were simply to die for. Waking up to that scenery every morning felt like a privilege. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, which offered fine dining in a warm, cozy, and wonderfully romantic atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming, as well as knowledgeable and helpful. They were also lovely with our daughter, which made our stay even more special. Our room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and full of character, with a lovely atmosphere that made us feel right at home. One particularly special feature was the hotel’s private pier, where we could be picked up and dropped off directly at the hotel — such a charming and convenient touch. Tremezzo itself is a delightful little town, and staying here made exploring Lake Como all the more memorable. We absolutely loved our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend La Darsena to anyone"

"Our stay at Ibis Como was excellent. The hotel is very well located, just a 10-minute drive from Lake Como and surrounded by numerous restaurants and shopping centers. Free parking is available, which was a great advantage for us. The room was clean, comfortable, and met all our expectations. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which was very convenient for our schedule, although the variety of options could be improved. The hotel is also only a 30-minute drive from Fiera Milano, making it an ideal choice for business travelers. Having a car is highly recommended. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return."

"We really enjoyed our stay. We were there just after the season ended so the restaurant had sadly just closed. But the town was still lovely, we were able to get food easily. The front desk attendants were always very helpful and nice and the hotel was lovely. The view is unmatched. Honestly I am still thinking about sitting out on the balcony looking out at the mountains and the lake."
