Gorgeous hotel with amazing views of the city. Although it is a little outside the city, you can walk (about 30-45 minutes) or the hotel provides transportation at certain times of the day.

Exceeded our expectations. Daniella in the lounge made our dinner enjoyable! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Parking too!

LOVE this hotel!! The moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the hotel manager and staff. The service was wonderful, our suite was very nicely appointed, with gorgeous views of the lake. This hotel was one of two unexpected gems. I cannot stress this enough, people. GO here. And get a room with a lake view. Pay extra for it if you have to, it's SO worth it. This charming hotel is located up above Lake Como in a small village called Brunate. You can take the funiculare up to Brunate from Como for 5 euro roundtrip; it's a 7 minute ride each way. The hotel is steps from the funiculare and is situated in an area with absolutely beautiful views. We stayed for 3 nights at CastaDiva in September 2015. We have been to Lake Como a few times prior this visit but the hotel and facilities were remarkable. I loved the views and that we had access to amazing grocery store (similar to Whole Foods) with a 15 minute walk (it’s moderate intensity to walk as some of it is uphill.) loved the huge rooms , even with the kitchen and all the amenities of an apartment and of course the balcony!

The location is a quiet cul-de-sac. The rooms were spacious and well cleaned with a somewhat decent view. Breakfast was plentiful with adequate variety. Dinner was limited at this time due to COVID restrictions but fine for me. The staf was helpful and friendly. you could tell this was a family establishment.

We arrived at the hotel at a relatively early hour, checked in and left our luggage in the hotel. After a day of sightseeing in the area we returned to the hotel. The receptionist took us to the room and only after they entered the room did she say, "We gave you an upgrade."
