"I stayed at Thon for the first time after staying at a number of different hotels near Brussels Airport. I was originally put off by the overall rating but I’m very glad I read the negative reviews and booked anyway. In my experience (on check-in and check-out) the staff were friendly and professional. If you are looking for an airport shuttle then this hotel doesn’t provide that (as far as I’m aware). There is public transport The room I stayed in was very clean, the bed was really comfy and there was a new smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. In my experience these things are not as standard in most hotels near the airport. I would definitely stay again"

"We booked this with two hours notice, and received excellent service including directions to park our large van, five minutes walk away. You have to bear in mind this is a budget hotel, and as such we found it to be very good. There was a minor problem with the plumbing, which was dealt with efficiently and very very quickly. All the staff we dealt with were friendly, helpful and spoke. Excellent English."

"the staff here were fabulous and went out of their way to be helpful. I would definitely stay here again as they were so good. Also, plenty of free parking outside the Hotel. The rooms are a bit dated, particularly the bathrooms but it does have everything you need, fabulous water pressure in particular. I don't like paper cups - would be better to have china cups and wash them up - instead of just throwing away the paper ones and the silly 'stirring sticks'. The location of the Hotel is perfect for access to the airport and in my case, my trip to Antwerp University for work. "

"Leuven is a wonderful town, full of young people, not far from Brussels. Location of apartment is great! Fully stocked with kitchen - microwave, dishes, refrigerator, all necessities! Clean, safe, even a few secured parking spaces. Really great for travelers! Reception hours are quite limited, but easy to reach by phone. Enjoy Leuven!!"
