"Convenient location but not enough parking. Good room and bed but pillows were too firm"

"Clearly once a grand hotel, it still has a lot of charm but some parts are a little tired. My lower ground floor room had no heating switched on, even the electric heated towel rail was disconnected. Comfy bed and fine staff, a peaceful and safe location. Would stay again. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the Mansion House which had a lovely rustic feel but was also very clean and modern. The whole site had a lovely feel and the other building with the pool etc looked very modern and also had some nice cosy seating areas. We didn't use any facilities but had a look around and everything looked brand new! Would love to stay here again. "

"Clean room and a great breakfast. Didn’t like that a cheap rate meant you had to drag your bag a long distance up and down stairs. No elevator. Otherwise happy."

"Great location to jump on M3 for business trip. Good size room and clean. As it is on services access to pizza express and other fast food outlets was extremely convenient. "

"Nice clean hotel, but bedrooms very dated. Window held together with worn out cello tape. OK in the summer but I imagine cold in the winter. Shower head would not stay up and cubicle old and rusty. Plug sockets loose and TV aerial socket fell out. "

"Beautiful old property,rooms could do with an update,very outdated and don’t match the style of the actual property,the wedding reception room which I’m guessing was an extension has white plastic windows which doesn’t look right"

"The Falcon was an ideal base for a night away when visiting friends. The price was good and our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was ok and there is some parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definately stay when next in the area. "

"Clean, welcoming room. Good breakfast choices and good quality food. Quite pricey though. Best to book with breakfast included. Watch out for chargeable snacks in the rooms. Tea and coffee is complimentary but all edible snacks are extras and payable on departure. Would be helpful to have bold signs to this effect."

"Nice hotel with comfortable and spacious room. Pleasantly decorated. Noise proofing not good though, could hear the resident in the room above walking across the floor as the floor boards creaked and could even hear him snoring in the night! Staff were pleasant and food in the pub was excellent."
