"Very welcoming. We stayed in the suite which was huge with 2 separate bedrooms and small dining area in the middle and a separate bathroom. Service and food was excellent. Especially the evening meals in the restaurant on the ground floor, all homemade meals - recommend the beef and ale pie! Breakfast was good, plenty of options even with a fussy child. There was confusion about parking at first but plenty on the main road and plenty in a public car park next door. There is actually some to the...

"OMG! You have to stay here! Anne & Dougie are extremely welcoming and attentive hosts. The Yurt we stayed in was so clean, comfortable and warm which was needed as it was freezing outside - the hot tub was needed! The cabin had everything we needed in it. The communal room was very well laid out with lots of entertainment for all ages. The location was perfect for a relaxing break and we will definitely be coming back!! Cannot recommend enough, the quality of the whole site is excellent!"

"This castle was lovingly remodeled in the 1980s to be as historic as possible yet with modern features (bathrooms, electricity). It’s the real experience and Nicola, the current owner, takes great pride in its history! She also serves a wonderful breakfast in the old kitchen castle. Definitely a lovely experience. Our room was huge and bed was comfortable. You are also surrounded by Leslie history if that clan is your family history roots. "

"Beautiful quiet cottage to recharge and reflect. Very sad time for us due to bereavement but cottage helped to heal our souls. We all loved it even the dog. Mattresses were a bit hard for our backs and sofas a bit soft and low but would not deter us from coming back. Wood burner was excellent at keeping cottage cosy. 9/10"

"Originally I was a little worried when we found out that our room had no window--only a skylight--and it was rather warm. But Nicola (hope I've spelled that right) very kindly found us a much nicer room. Breakfast was good and the staff were all unfailingly pleasant and helpful to deal with.
