We’ve been to Scotland three times, and this is the most wonderful place we’ve ever stayed! We were in Heaven. When Americans think of the Higjlands, this is what we envision.

It’s a little pricey but the staff here are beyond excellent. The service and dining experience have been exceptional. Our television had issues when we got to our room but the staff were immediately accommodating and switched out the televisions. We are from the U. S. and I was a little hesitant when we first checked in because the carpets and rooms are a little worn but the staff is so great it immediately makes up for it. Beautiful presentation of main breakfast and delicious

A guest house, not a hotel room, was what I wanted. My room with private bath was clean, and the window opened for fresh air. TV in the room worked well. The breakfast buffet is always available. It's on 2 bus routes for easy access to Aberdeen city center. On arrival, make sure your phone is charged and you know how to do international calls on it.

It was with in walking distance from both the airport and the car rental place. Loved that.

The room was good-looking and very comfortable. The bathroom was the nicest of all the hotels we stayed in that week, and included heated floors. Service was excellent. The grounds of the hotel are lovely - they have black Highland cattle and deer and of course the beautiful golf course, which we walked out to for the views. My only suggestion is to make the rooms a bit brighter - there isn't enough lighting, and given my room's location (we were in the lodge, which is all first floor), I...
